THE ROCKY ROAD RIDERS ASSOCIATION

The First registered ATV Club in Nova Scotia

Formed in the early part of 1986 the Rocky Road Riders held there first meeting in the Chezzetcook Fire Dept. hall. Chaired by Richard (All Terrain Charley) Snowdon with the minutes being taken by his wife Diane. The first order of business was to come up with a name for the club and that was taken care of quickly. A slate of officers was elected next and they consisted of President – Richard Snowdon, Vice President – David Gay, Treasurer – Robert Mannette and Recording Secretary – Diane Snowdon. First meeting turnout was 26.

We went from a motley crew of disorganized lone ATV riders to a motley crew of a group of loosely organized ATV riders who had one hell of a good time

The Chezzetcook Fire Dept. was good enough to let us use their hall for all our meetings and we even had clam chowder feeds after the Rallys
